Night Light. Acrylic painting on slate. Moretonhampstead.

I was walking home from my friends late at night. This lane is very close to my house. I had to stop and stand in the middle of the road for 10 minutes and take in every detail. The way the street light lit up the road and the top of the trees. The moon was also highlighting the bushes so you could see the colour.

This painting is in acrylic and captures the stillness, tranquility and beauty of the night.
